What a beautiful Saturday! To bad the fishing was slow...The wind died down about 5:00am to let Jay
catch a stripper right off the bank from his campsite. Everyone hooked fish but few were landed. We
stayed in the shallows and fought the weeds. The big Clouser weren't working, went small due to the
damsel midge hatch. Watched a few crawl up on my pontoon and pull out or their shucks. A Great
turnout, Dave and Chris, Randy(He brought a good tent this time!) Loren Kitamura, Dave and Hayden,
Jay Jefferson and Roger Caton. The wind came up fierce on Saturday night and held thru Sunday
morning. No one wanted to go out in that mess! Hayden demonstrated his new articulating frog...but they
way he was striping it in, it looked more like a motor boat! A huge potluck spread put on by Jay and Chris
BBQ pork ribs, potato salad and corn on the cob! Don't get much better then that.
